Mahindra Launches Super E-Alpha, Looks Like Jadul's Red Bajaj

JAKARTA - Mahindra Last Mile Mobility (LMM), India's largest 3-wheeled electric vehicle company, has launched the latest addition in its tricycle electric vehicle transport line 3, Mahindra e-Alfa Super E-rickshaw.

At first glance, it looks like the old red Bajaj in Indonesia which is equipped with a two engine of not 150 cc which is similar to Vespa's as the license holder.

The main advantage of the e-Alfa Super is a higher distance, reaching more than 95 kilometers with one charge, thus allowing drivers to maximize their income.

This 3-wheel electric motor produces a peak power of 1.64 kW, and a torque of 22 Nm, providing extraordinary performance. Equipped with a higher capacity 18 A charger and access to more than 10,000 charging stations in India.

e-Alfa Super is designed to be resistant to daily use, just like the Bajaj function in Jakarta in the past, its minimalist dimension allows passengers to reach villages that are difficult to reach by cars

To improve ownership experience, Mahindra also offers free accident insurance for e-Alfa Super buyers, ensuring customer safety and security.

"In the world with increasing net mobility demand, our rickshaw e-Alfa Super offers greater distance and income potential. This allows our driver-partners to increase their entrepreneurship income and reduce environmental impact, while supported by trust and reliability of the Mahindra brand," said Sumanported Suman, CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility in a company statement, August 9.

The e-Alfa Super has the best metal body and safety features in its class, including a sophisticated braking system, and a roof handle.

With a combination of longer distances, superior safety features, and strong selling full support, Mahindra sells an e-Alfa Super worth 161,000 Indian rupees or almost IDR 30 million.
