Japanese Consumers Given Privileges With The Emergence Of First Variant "First Edition" In Series-5 And I5 BMW

JAKARTA - BMW officially introduced an additional trim, namely First Edition, for the latest Series-5 and i5. However, customers in Europe still have to wait because this version was launched in Japan first.

Reporting from Carscoops, Monday, November 13, this car gets a choice of white or black sapphire color with M Sport kit kit kit kits with 20-inch star-pattered rims and iconic kidney grip on this vehicle.

BMW is also equipped with a panoramic roof, a luxurious Harmon Kardon sound system, and covers the interior surface with a mixture of Alcantara and Veganza imitation skin. However, the uniqueness of this vehicle is still something else.

The manufacturer presents this trim with a diesel fuel engine, meaning this car has a 2.0 liter turbodiesel 4-cylinder engine fresh with an all-wheel drive (AWD) that produces 194 dk of power and 400 Nm of torque. This is unique considering the declining popularity of diesel.

But if customers feel they don't fit into the machine, BMW also offers Series-5 with pure gasoline and electric engines on the i5 model on the trim. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not disclose information about the specifications.

Talking about the price, the BMW Series-5 gets a price tag of 9.64 million yen, equivalent to Rp997.8 million based on the current exchange rate. The trim will go on sale now and be produced until February. It is hoped that the first unit will be delivered to customers in early 2024.

As an illustration, the current price of BMW i5 is around 67,795 US dollars or around Rp1,013 billion for the i5 eDrive40 variant. Meanwhile, the i5 M60 xDrive is sold for 85,095 US dollars or around Rp1.27 billion.
