Chery Releases Wuling Air EV Micro Electric Car At A Price Of Less Than IDR 190 Million

Chery New Energy is one of the brands under the auspices of a Chery company that focuses on pure electric cars (EVs), this time launching a small-dimensional car called Little Ant for the Chinese market.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Sunday, October 29, this car has two doors with a length of 3,242 mm, a width of 1,670 mm, a height of 1,550 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,150 mm, slightly wider than the micro EV car sold in Indonesia, Wuling Air ev.

This model comes in the New Edition type. Different from the previous model featuring the Chery logo at the front, the New Edition has the Qq logo with the bottom equipped with a grip trap.

Moving to the side, this car adopts a suspension roof design and uses a black 15-inch multi-spoke rim. In addition, Little Ant has a frame made entirely of aluminum.

On the back, the manufacturer's logo was replaced with a Chery emblem to clarify that this vehicle was a Chery assembled. Then, the round back light is maintained.

Adopting a 2+2 interior layout, the cockpit has a minimalist design with white, pale and black blue decorations. In addition, this is coupled with a 10.1-inch central control screen, two-colour steering wheel, and even 190cm2 makeup glass.

Speaking of technical specifications, Little Ant has a synchronous magnetic permanent electric motor on the back with 36 kW and a torque of 95 Nm to a maximum of 56 kW and a torque of 150 Nm, which is capable of providing the highest speed of up to 100 km/hour.

The Chinese manufacturer provides a varied battery option, ranging from 25 kWh lithium iron phosphate which provides a distance of up to 251 km to the highest with a 40 kWh lithium battery pack power package with a distance of up to 408 km.

All versions of the battery are supported by a DC fast charger which makes the battery charged up to 80 percent within 40 minutes. To add to the driving sensation, the manufacturer provides four modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Epedal.

This car has an attractive price with a price of 77,900-82,900 yuan or equivalent to Rp170.5 million to Rp181.4 million. Chery Little Ant comes with a variety of exterior colors such as green, purple, white, gray, blue, light green, and pink.
