Mitsubishi D:X Concept, Global Debut Electricity MVP At Japan Mobility Show 2023

JAKARTA - Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (Mitsubishi Motors) presented Mitsubishi D:X Concept, MPV Electrification Crossover today at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 exhibition.

Takao Kato, President and Chief Executive Officer Mitsubishi Motors, revealed that D:X Concept is the embodiment of a car that combines the best technology from Mitsubishi Motors, especially in terms of electrification and all-wheel control, with the aim of realizing carbon neutral society.

"We are determined to continue to provide a satisfactory lifestyle of mobility, which raises the driver's adventure spirit and gives joy to everyone," he said at a press conference session, in an official statement received by VOI, Wednesday, October 25.

In addition, this car is designed to hint at Delica's future. Mitsubishi D:X Concept is the concept of an electrified MPV crossover car that realizes the hallmarks of Mitsubishi Motors and inspires the spirit of adventure.

By combining a comfortable, fun, and spacious cabin space of an MPV, with the incredible road control capabilities of an SUV, as well as providing powerful and convenient driving performance of an unbounded PHEV of activity, Mitsubishi D:X Concept comes with a myriad of interesting features.

In terms of cabin, this concept car inherits a high-level interior and safety from Delica as well as brings it to the future. Mitsubishi D:X Concept offers a very relieved cabin and protective body that guarantees security, based on the concept of design Maximum Room and Safety for Humans, Maximum Off-Roader for Unbounded Adventures.

The wide interior monobox provides a more spacious space for all passengers, and is equipped with a panoramic seat that can rotate and move up and down, the front window, and a see-through hood that provides a wide open view, creates an air cockpit atmosphere, thus providing an unprecedented driving experience, as if floating in the air.

The S-AWC integrated vehicle dynamic control system was adopted for the 4WD electric system. It provides a safe, secure, and comfortable journey in various weather or road conditions, allowing drivers to embark on various adventures with a sense of security.

Despite its unique monobox design, Mitsubishi D:X Concept provides the same driving experience as standard passenger vehicles.
