JAKARTA - Just in early September, Mini introduced the latest generation of Countryman. This model is one of the cars that experienced a significant overhaul, apart from Cooper.

The countryman of the latest generation has dimension greater than its predecessor. With a length of 4,433 millimeters, a width of 1,843 millimeters, and a height of 1,656 millimeters, the car made its public debut at the IAA Munich 2023 event and became the first Mini model produced in Germany.

The ALL4 system is integrated with a double electric motor that produces a combined power of 313 dk and a torque of 494 Nm. And SE ALL4 is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/hour within 5.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 178 km/hour.

Just like the lowest type, Countryman SE ALL4 uses a 64.7 kWh battery pack that can go with a range of up to 433 km based on the WLTP cycle. This type can receive a 22 kW AC charging system and a 130 kW DC.

Its capabilities in various fields are supported by long wheelbase. In addition, this vehicle maintains the iconic proportion of MINI, including short overhangs, short engine hoods, 20 inches larger rims, wider wheel arches, and chrom detail reductions provide a more modern look.

As a result, this model achieves a drag coefficient of 0.26, is more consumption efficient, and has a wider reach. The stylish C pillar design with the ALL4 logo specifically models supports extended roof lines at the back of the vehicle while making it appear shorter.

The Mini mainstay crossover can accommodate five passengers and has a separate glass panoramic roof. The rear row can be adjusted to a length of 130 millimeters, which can increase the passenger's rear footspace or baggage room. The volume of baggage in its normal position is 460 liters, which can be increased to 1,450 liters with a rear seat when folded.

The latest Mini Countryman is priced at 28,500 pounds or around IDR 550 million with the first shipment made in February 2024.
