Ferrari That Experienced A Anniversary Accident At Senayan Ever Win Car Of The Year 2009

JAKARTA - As previously reported by VOI, there have been successive accidents on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta, involving several vehicles, including a Ferrari.

The incident began when the Ferrari was traveling from the HI Roundabout towards Senayan, Jakarta. When it arrived at the red light at the Senayan Roundabout, the Ferrari hit another vehicle in front of it.

The Ferrari hit vehicles such as Toyota Avanza, Honda Brio, motorcycles in the form of Honda Beat, Benelli, and Honda Verz. Meanwhile, the Ferrari involved in the incident was the Italian Ferrari 458, one of the most successful models ever produced by the manufacturer bearing the stalled horse logo.

Based on VOI's search, Monday, October 9, the sports car was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009. This car is a succession of F430 with a design inspired by the legendary car, Ferrari Enzo.

This car has a design language that optimizes aerodynamics, resulting in a downward press force of 140 kg when traveling at a speed of 200 km/hour. The front ring is equipped with a winglet that can be changed and lowered at the highest speed to reduce the drag force.

According to MotorAutority, the interior of the car is designed based on input from 7 times F1 world champion Michael Schumacher, so this vehicle has cabin layouts such as racing cars and new steering wheels with a lot of cabin control.

It's interesting to talk about Ferrari is its engine. The Ferrari 458 is equipped with a 4.497 cc F136 V8 engine capable of generating power up to 562 dk and a 540 Nm torque which is paired with a transmission of seven dual-clutch accelerations. This machine features Direct Fuel Injection, which is able to suppress fuel consumption as well as the first in a Ferrari mid-engine car.

Ferrari claims, this car is capable of running from 0 to 100 km/h within 3.4 seconds and produces the highest speed of up to 325 km/h. This model produces fuel consumption of up to 13.3 liters/100 km.

Ferrari 458 also contributed another success for Italian manufacturers by winning the "Car of the Year 2009" and "Supercar of the Year" awards. This was followed by other awards such as "Cabrio of the Year 2011" from Top Gear and "Best Cabrio 2011" from Auto Zeitung magazine.

Even though production has been stopped, Ferrari lovers can still get this car in used condition. Based on searches in the used vehicle market, Ferrari 458 Italy is priced the cheapest at IDR 4.9 billion and the most expensive is IDR 6.8 billion in Indonesia.
