Getting To Know Hummer H3, The Car Of The Former Head Of Makassar Customs Confiscated By The KPK

JAKARTA - A few days ago, as reported by VOI, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated the vehicle of the former Head of Makassar Customs, Andhi Pramono.

From a number of vehicles confiscated, there was one that stole the attention. The vehicle is a silver Hummer H3 which has a very dashing SUV style. Together with several other models, this car was taken by the KPK as evidence in the money laundering case that ensnared the perpetrator with the initials AP.

According to VOI's search, Hummer H3 was first introduced in 2005 by General Motors (GM). Although H3 is the smallest type in the Hummer family, apart from the larger H1 and H2, it still has impressive dimensions as it is designed to become more compact and easy to control on roads and in urban areas.

Hummer H3 was built on the same platform as the Colorado Chevrolet and theglobular GMC, GMT355. However, this car has a dimensions of 4,778 mm, a width of 1,897 mm, a height of 1,872 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,842 mm, providing quite a relaxing space.

The brother of the GMC Tongi has three choices of machines, ranging from 3.5 liters of fresh 5-cylinders with up to 220 liters of power, 3.7 liters of fresh 5-cylinders with 242 dk and 239 dk of power, as well as machines with a capacity of 5.3 liters of V8 which produces up to 300 dk of power.

These machines are placed at the front of the car and combined with a manual transmission of five accelerations or an automatic four acceleration as well as a four-wheel drive system.

Hummer H3 also stands out in terms of safety. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the SUV received a five-star rating for driver safety, driver side safety, and rear passenger safety. Meanwhile, the safety of the front passenger got four stars and AWDurver got three stars.

Despite having a tough security and performance system, this model does not last long on the market. At the end of February 2010, GM decided to stop the Hummer brand and the last type of production was in May.

During his five-year existence, Hummer H3 managed to record total sales of 156,791 units in the United States. Apart from the United States, Hummer H3 is also sold in various markets around the world, including Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Interestingly, this car is in great demand in Indonesia, when referring to the used online car stalls as of today, Monday, September 25, the existence of H3 is quite large with prices starting at IDR 800 million and above.
