Mitsubishi Reveals The 2024 Most Popular Model For The US Market, Presents The Latest Outlander

JAKARTA - Japanese automotive manufacturer Mitsubishi is preparing several new models to be launched for the US market in 2024. In addition, they are also making changes to their future ranks for the market.

Reported on the official Mitsubishi Cars website on Wednesday, July 5, there are five SUV models that will experience an update for 2024, including Outlander PHEV, Outlander, Outlander Sport, and Eclipse Cross. In addition, Mirage's compact hatchback will also be part of the line-up.

The first model introduced was the 2024 PHEV Outlander with the latest edition, namely Platinum Edition. This car comes with an exterior color of Black Diamond and an Allow Silver roof. Mitsubishi will also retain the Black Edition CELL for the 2024 model.

The PHEV 2024 Outlander will be equipped with the Super-All Wheel Control feature from Mitsubishi Motors as well as a 20 kWh battery drive system capable of providing a distance of up to 61 km using pure power and 675 km with batteries and fully charged fuel tanks.

In addition, the standard Outlander 2024 variant will also get an update with the presence of Premium Edition. This car has the same exterior color as the PHEV Outlander, as well as a Light Gray color interior and silver trim.

Outlander Sport 2024 is also experiencing an update with the presence of a new edition, namely Trail Edition. This update includes black elements on the hood of the machine, the guide of the inner door handle, and the cover of mud. The manufacturer also changed the name trim GT to CELL.

It's no surprise that Mitsubishi is expanding the ranks of Outlander models in the US, considering the SUV is Mitsubishi's main product in the United States market. The demand for SUVs in the market is also quite high.

In addition, another model that is experiencing an update to the US market is the 2024 Eclipse Cross. This model will be equipped with a hand-free tailgate on the SE and CELL variants. The SE variant will also get an Adaptive Cruise Control, a rear USB port, and a leather-coated steering wheel.

In addition to the SUV model, Mitsubishi will also provide a refresher on the Mirage 2024 compact hatchbacks and Mirage G4. The LE variant will be equipped with a handbanding chair, automatic headlights, and wipers that detect rain. In addition, a new color will also be added, namely Mercury Gray and Mystic Black.
