JAKARTA - The three most accomplished racers in the world will drive three Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 racing in the 24th century Hours Le Mans race, while the automotive company from the United States also presents 56 units of the production version of the Garage 56 edition Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 2024.

Collaborating with NASCAR, Teamsmen Motorsports, Goodyear, and IMSA, they agreed that the NASCAR Garage 56 racing car needed to be accompanied by production cars to celebrate extraordinary achievements in the history of NASCAR and Camaro.

The special production car was introduced in Le Mans, France, to be precise at the "Meet the Team" event a few days before the Le Mans one-century celebration began.

According to official information from the Chevrolet page, Thursday, June 8, this car comes with the latest exterior color called Riptide Blue, which is the same as the NASCAR Garage 56 racing car.

The car is also equipped with an attractive graphics package inspired by the design of a racing car, with gold and white line accents that stretch from front to back of the vehicle.

Chevrolet also places the 75-year celebration logo NASCAR on the engine hood, which is displayed along with the visual flag of the United States at the end of the front hood.

The interior of this car is also given a Garage 56 emblem at the top and the logo is also emblazoned at the wheel, creating experiences such as being in a real racing car when driving on the highway.

The Garage 56 edition Camaro produced is also the same as the racing version equipped with aero which helps maintain stability. In addition, this car is equipped with the rear wing.

Of course, Chevrolet did not miss the iconic V8 LT4 engine, with a power output of 650 dk, combined with the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar tires to improve the car's performance.

The car will be manufactured in the United States and all available by the end of this year.

Please note that the NASCAR Garage 56 project is a collaboration between NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports, Chevrolet, Goodyear, and IMSA, as part of the celebration of the one hundredth anniversary of the Le Mans 24 Hours race which will take place on June 10-11.

The Garage 56 category was introduced in 2012 and involved single participants using innovative cars and technology that were not in other categories.

NASCAR's participation in the Le Mans race aims to introduce stock car racing to global racing fans. In addition, this year is also a celebration of NASCAR's 75th anniversary.

The NASCAR Garage 56 team will be filled with seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champions, Jimmie Johnson, Le Mans winner, Mike Rockenfeller, and 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button.
