Isyana Sarasvati Reveals Difficulty Playing New Characters On Sherina's Adventure 2

JAKARTA - Isyana Saraswati as an admirer of the film Adventure Sherina, which aired in 2000, mentions her involvement in the sequel to Sherina's Adventure 2 which will air on September 28 as a dream come true.

Although he likes to be lined up to play a new character named Ratih, Isyana admits that the process he is undergoing is not easy. Even though Isyana is used to singing, Isyana admits that it is difficult when she has to do choreography.

The most challenging for me is koreo. This film is a musical drama, we are not only asked to sing, but also a koreo. We have a choreography while singing," said Isyana Sarasvati during a press conference in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta on Thursday, August 31.

Isyana admitted that she had to undergo the training process for a long time to memorize the choreography and apply it during filming.

"We have been training for months to prepare the choreography," he said.

Riri Riza as the director agrees with what Isyana said. He said that the actors did undergo a long process to strengthen the choreography displayed, especially for those who were not used to it.

Therefore, Riri feels grateful to see what Isyana has done. He saw that the actress had a high commitment to give her the best for the results of Sherina's Adventure 2.

"I'm grateful there are players like Isyana. She's busy, but still willing to commit to following the whole process, from training to recording to continuing. The results are cool," said Riri Riza.

Meanwhile, regarding Isyana's election to play Ratih, producer Mira Lesmana called it a unanimous decision. He felt that only Isyana was able to sing a song that Ratih's character would later show in the film.

"Isyana is the most appropriate to play this character. When we composed the song, we thought that this song was the most appropriate to sing Isyana," concluded Mira Lesmana.
