Dewi Perssik's Mediation With The Head Of The RT Regarding The Rejection Of Sacrificial Animals Ends In Buntu

JAKARTA - Dewi Perssik finally met directly with Malkan, Head of RT 06/RW 04, West Cilandak Village, South Jakarta at the Babul Khoirot Mosque on Thursday, June 29, to mediate regarding the rejection of sacrificial animals.

The singer who is familiarly called Depe came accompanied by his nephew, Rosa Meldianti at around 16.00 WIB. Meanwhile, Malkan and several local figures were already present. The mediation also appears to have received escort from the local police.

During the mediation, there was tension between Dewi Perssik and Malkan. The two of them responded to each other's arguments in a high tone, and were also witnessed by many residents gathered around the mosque.

While mediation in a closed room, on the top floor of the Babul Khoirot Mosque, a man's loud voice was heard reminding Dewi Perssik that the mosque was not a place to leave cows.

"The mosque is a public place, Mr. Ustadz doesn't have a problem, how come RT is even angry. The RT should protect its citizens," said Dewi Perssik.

The mediation that lasted almost an hour ended without any clarity from both parties. The plan to hold a press conference after mediation failed.

"So, I convey here through Mr. RT, this meeting is deadlocked. Then, he (Dewi Perssik) doesn't want to be tabayyun in this case. We just welcome, if we are wrong we apologize, if he is still keukeuh, we can't," said Abdi, Deputy Chairman of RT 06/RW 04, West Cilandak Village.

Meanwhile, Dewi Perssik immediately returned to her home after there was no agreement from the mediation.

"There is no solution, there is no bright spot, my people are bullied, yes I am angry, I am angry. I have good intentions, I have no political intentions," concluded Dewi Perssik.
