Sherina's Adventure 2 Maintains Coordination Elements Like The First Film

JAKARTA - The continuation of the story of Sherina and Sadam in the adventure film Sherina 2 continues to maintain the element of strengthening as in the first film so that it continues to present a story that relates to loyal fans of its first film. "Sherina and Sadam remain a continuation of the old figures but this is twenty years later how they are now mature humans and face adult problems. But they remain Sherina and Sadam as we know them," said director Riri Riza at the talk show "The Boys of Adventure Sherina 2" at the Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, June 24. He added that the characters of Sherina (Sherina Munaf) and Sadam (Derby Romero) maintain the same strengthening as in the film Adventure of Sherina but this time these figures have more complex nature and character along with the age of those who have matured.

The continuation of the story of the Adventure film Sherina, said Riri, had begun to think about it shortly after completing her first film but due to several causes and obstacles the process of developing new stories began in the past four years. "About one year or two years after the first film thought of wanting to make a sequel. But if this story was actually about four years ago," said Riri. Sherina 2's Adventure film has become a reunion event for Sherina Munaf and Derby Romero after the two starred in the first film that aired in 2000 ago. Besides Sherina and Derby as the main character, the film will also star in a new cast such as Randy Danistha, Isyana Sarasvati, Bima Zeno, and others. Even though it comes with new stories and cast, Riri again attracts Mira Lesmana producer and scriptwriter Honest Prananto in working on the film Adventure of Sherina 2. In choosing the cast, Riri admits that the match between actor's personal experience and the character he plays is important.

"For a film, we are looking for people who can bring their experiences into their roles, I think we all always make it an important part when choosing work friends like actors," said Riri.. I am very happy with these players because they already have great talent in themselves and then their roles are well studied," he said. Sherina 2's Adventure film will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting September 28.
