Not Homecoming Or Vacation, Dewi Sandra Chooses To Enjoy Quiet Jakarta During Eid

JAKARTA - In a matter of days, the world of Muslims will celebrate Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr. Many of them living around Jakarta choose to return to their hometowns or go home to celebrate Eid with their extended families. Some of them also choose to go on vacation.

However, the homecoming and holidays during Eid does not apply to Dewi Sandra. The artist chose to enjoy the quietness of Jakarta during Eid.

"I'm a real Betawi child, so I always enjoy empty Jakarta, Alhamdulillah," said Dewi Sandra at SCBD, South Jakarta last week.

Even though he chose not to spend the Lebaran period by traveling, the 43-year-old artist still allowed those who worked for him to return to his hometown.

Dewi is well aware that the moment of Eid will be even more delicious when gathering with her family. Therefore, she supports the desire of her employees to go home, especially Lebaran this time is the first post-pandemic.

"Yes, left alone, they have one week off. This Eid should be more special for those who return home," said Dewi.

In addition to talking about her activities in Lebaran later, Dewi also reminded Muslims to celebrate Eid without excessive. For him, the best moment for Eid is spending time with his family.

"We have to celebrate, be grateful and be happy from God's blessing, but don't let it go. If I want Eid, it's momentum with my family," concluded Dewi Sandra.
