Mediation Failed, Venna Melinda And Ferry Irawan Agree To Divorce

JAKARTA - Ferry Irawan's divorce lawsuit against Venna Melinda was again held at the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA) on Thursday, March 30. After the trial, Venna's attorney, Noor Akhmad Riyadhi and Ferry Irawan's attorney, Marselinus Abi casually responded to questions from media crews present at the South Jakarta PA.

Ferry Irawan's attorney said that at today's trial the subject matter had been read out.

"Today's agenda is still in the subject of the case because mediation failed. So today, it was read out, it was finished and given a week for the duplicate replica until it was proven through e-court," said Marselinus Abi when met after the trial.

Marselinus ensured that in this divorce suit, his client had agreed to end his household with Venna. "That both are also ready for the same name to agree to divorce. So we cannot deny it," he said.

Noor Akhmad also agreed with what his lawyer said. He ensured that the trial would continue until there was a divorce decision.

"Venna, who mediated yesterday from both parties, agreed to make peace. This means continuing to the next agenda. Stay in divorce," said Noor Akhmad.

Unlike what Noor Akhmad and Marselinus Abi showed, Venna and Ferry's legal team are still defending each other's clients, and they often even make fun of what opposing lawyers do.

Until Tuesday, March 28 yesterday, Sunan Kalijaga was still regularly holding press conferences by declaring his client not guilty of the alleged case of domestic violence.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Hotman Paris Hutapea as Venna Melinda's attorney on many occasions often teased Sunan who regularly held press conferences which he considered unnecessary, as when he was met by media crews on March 17 and in Kelapa Gading on March 24.
