The National Police Sent A Letter Determination Of Suspect Firli Bahuri To The State Secretariat Today
The National Police plans to send a notification document for the determination of the suspect to the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri to the State Secretariat (Setneg), today.
This was done in order to complete the administration of the investigation of the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo.
"Yes (wrote to the State Secretariat) a notification letter (determination of the suspect) is planned for today," said Deputy Director of Corruption and Criminal Investigation of the National Police, Kombes Arief Adhiharsa, when confirmed, Thursday, November 23.
Investigators will also schedule the examination of witnesses as a follow-up to complete the investigation process. Including, the summons for examination of Firli Bahuri as a suspect.
"Today, we are completing the administration of the investigation. The next plan will be discussed this afternoon," said Arief.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) is still waiting for a notification letter for the determination of the suspect Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri by the National Police.
"If the letter has been received, it will be processed according to the applicable laws and regulations," said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana.
Ari explained that regarding the replacement of Firli's position in the KPK and other policies, he would follow the provisions stipulated in Article 32 of Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the Second Amendment to the KPK Law.
