U-17 World Cup Results 2023: After Winning Telak, Argentina U-17 Will Meet Brazil U-17

JAKARTA Argentina U-17 qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2023 U-17 World Cup after slaughtering Venezuela U-17 with a score of 5-0 at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Goal kits for the Tango Team opened in the 15th minute. This lead was scored by the suicide of Venezuelan U-17 defender Luis Balbo.

Seven minutes later it was Santiago Lopez's turn to take La Albiceleste away. After that, wonderkid Claudio Echeverri made his name in the 32nd minute after maximizing Valentino Acuna's pass.

Argentina's U-17 victory party was then equipped with Agustin Roberto's brace in the second half. The two goals each occurred in the 70th minute through the penalty spot and the 78th minute.

The only penalty in the second half of this match was given by the referee after Pablo Ibarra was deemed to have violated Franco Mastantuono. Ibarra was then given a second yellow card so he had to leave the field.

Agustin Roberto executed the penalty confidently. He tricked the opposing goalkeeper with a harvest kick.

The victory brought the Tango Team to the U-17 World Cup quarter-finals. They have been awaited by arch-enemy, Brazil U-17.

The Samba team had previously locked the place in the top eight on Monday, November 20, 2023. The Phaelipe Leal squad escaped after defeating Ecuador's U-17.

The classic duel between Argentina U-17 and Brazil U-17 will take place on Friday, November 24, 2023. Both will fight at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
