Rihani's Rihana Twin Sued 5 Years In Prison And A Fine Of IDR 1 Billion

TANGERANG - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) demanded that the twins Rinahana and Rihani, the defendant in the iPhone buying and selling fraud case, be sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion. The twins, Riana and Rihani, were assessed by the prosecutor, were proven to have committed a criminal act intentionally and spread misleading fake news resulting in consumer losses in electronic transactions. As Article 45 paragraph 1 jo Article 28 paragraph 1 uu No. 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning electronic transaction information and alternative indictments of the three public prosecutors," said the Public Prosecutor, Mega Sari in a trial at the Tangerang District Court, Tuesday, November 21.

"The defendant was sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of 1 billion rupiah," he continued. The prosecutor said that if the defendant could not pay a fine of Rp. 1 billion. Then he would be replaced with imprisonment for one year.," he concluded.
