Through Anyeong's Clip Video, Bennett AK Wants Asian Hiphop Market Pilgrims

JAKARTA - Success with a single titled J-Town Flow released last year, Bennett AK comes with a video clip for Anyeong, a song he has released since last October.

Anyeong is a big project for Bennett AM with UK Drill, the same genre as the song J-Town Flow, he wants to re-introducing the color of his music which is considered foreign in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Anyeong in Korean is a term used in informal greeting. Bennett chose the title as a gimmick to attract his listeners.

In this song, Bennett also uses other languages from several Asian countries, including Mandarin, Japan, and of course Indonesian.

"The purpose of this song is to penetrate the Asian hiphop market and make his name. So, this music video has a big budget and is also assisted by many sponsors," said Bennett AK in his statement, Tuesday, November 21.

The rapper who was born July 1, 2002, also did not deny that he wanted to repeat the success of J-Town Flow, a song that made him known outside Indonesia.

However, through Anyeong's song, Bennett wanted to be known to hiphop music listeners on the Asian continent first.

"Goal sekarang untuk penetrate market musik Asia seperti Korea, Jepang, dan Cina. Makanya pakai bahasa- bahasa itu di lagu Anyeong ini," katanya.

For information, Bennett AK is a young rapper born in Jakarta who released his debut single titled Mirror Mary totaleyman in 2019. In this song, he collaborates with Alex Jeremy.

At a young age, Bennett has released more than 18 singles and one mini album. Most of the music carries, UK Drill, mainly trap and boombap.

In addition to wanting to expand listeners to Asia, Bennett AK also wants to focus on introducing himself and his music to Indonesian hiphop music listeners.
