JAKARTA Dogecoin (DOGE), a meme coin popular among crypto enthusiasts, will soon land on the moon. Astrobotic, a space research company and American robotics, announced that it will launch a satellite carrying physical Dogecoin to the moon in December 2023.

This announcement received a warm welcome from the Dogecoin community, which shows their enthusiasm and support. Astrobotic is a technology company focused on lunar exploration and development.

The company has received support from the Dogecoin community since 2015, when they received donations in the form of Dogecoin from fans of the meme coin. In return, Astrobotic sent a collection of "Physical DOGecoins" to the Dogecoin community, which they will take to the moon.

Astrobotic acknowledged the involvement of the Dogecoin community in their lunar mission. The mission to bring Dogecoin to this month is in line with Elon Musk's vision, which has an interest in DOGE meme coins. However, the DOGE-1 mission, which began in 2021 and is managed by SpaceX as a rocket launch service provider for Intuitive Machines, has been delayed repeatedly on the Nova-C mission, which has an impact on the progress of the DOGE-1 mission.
