Former Acting Head Of BPKAD Meranti Fired From Civil Servants For Bribery Regent To Make Umrah Travel His Partner
PEKANBARU - Former Acting Head of the Meranti Islands Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Fitria Nengsih was dismissed as a Civil Servant (PNS) because she was found guilty of corruption in the bribery of Umrah travel services.
"He (Fitria Nengsih) has been dismissed as a civil servant since the end of last October. His dismissal was after the decision of the inkrah court (permanent power law)," said Head of the Meranti Islands Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Bakharuddin, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 16.
This was stated in the decision of the Pekanbaru District Court (PN) on August 24, 2023.
In that case, Fitria Nengsih was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison and a fine of Rp. 200 million provided that if the fine was not paid, it was replaced with imprisonment for 3 months.
When he was arrested and has not yet been found guilty in the trial process in court, the wife of the inactive Meranti Regent, Muhammad Adil, still received a salary of 50 percent. However, the allowance is no longer given.

Bakharuddin explained, after being decided by the court at that time, there was a break seven days before the dismissal was processed. It is waiting to see whether the person concerned filed an appeal or made further legal action.
"However, because Fitria Nengsih did not appeal seven days after the court's decision. So we immediately process and propose dismissal in accordance with applicable regulations," he added.
Fitria Nengsih was found guilty of being involved in corruption in the bribery of Umrah travel services.
He gave a bribe of Rp750 million to the Regent of Meranti, Muhammad Adil so that his PT Tanur Muthmainnah Tour (TMT) was chosen as the travel agency for free Umrah pilgrims by the Meranti Islands Government in 2022.
