Through Platform X, Israeli Minister Orders Purchase Of 10 Thousand Weapons To Be Distributed To Jewish Settlements
JAKARTA - Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who was convicted of a racism and supporting terrorist organizations' case, wants to drag people into civil war by arming Jewish settlers in the West Bank.
Although the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip has continued since October 7, there is another danger where the attacks of Jewish settlers armed by the Israeli government against Palestinians in the West Bank will turn into civil war.
Israel's right-wing National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has been charged with 53 cases and convicted of "cases of racism and supporting terrorist organizations" now he is known as an authorized official arming civilians in the West Bank.
According to information gathered by Anadolu, despite being convicted in the past, Ben-Gvir has called on Israelis to carry weapons and he has also made it easier to provide weapons to residents since he took office.
In a post on October 23, Ben-Gvir called on Israeli women to arm themselves,
"We have formed 496 reserve units across the country since the beginning of the war, we will continue to arm residents and form reserve armed units," he said.

On October 10, Ben-Gvir announced on platform X that he had ordered the purchase of more than 10,000 weapons to be distributed in Jewish settlements near the Gaza Strip and the territory where Arabs and Israelis live together.
Following Ben Gvir's move to arm Israeli civilians, and distribute long-barreled weapons purchased by his ministry to civilians, Israel conducted an evaluation that the potential threat of civil war in the country had increased.
Ben-Gvir, known for his anti-Arab sentiment since youth, prompted acts of violence before the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who signed the Oslo Agreement in 1995 to end the conflict with Palestine.
"We reached the car, we will reach Rabin too," he said in an interview.
He was once a member of the racist "Kah" movement founded by hotspot Meir Kahane, which Israel has banned and designated a terrorist organization by the United States (US).

The appointment of former convict Ben-Gvir as the ministry responsible for law enforcement has received reactions inside and outside Israel.

Ben-Gvir, known for pushing for acts of violence committed by Jewish settlers in occupied Jerusalem, is referred to as "a murder lawyer", "a demon lawyer" and "convict" because he is known for defending Jewish settlers and terror suspects in Jerusalem.
He is known for his hostility towards the Arabs and calls for Palestinians to be exiled to Arab countries so that only Jews remain in Israel.
After an Israeli soldier shot and killed an unarmed Palestinian youth on December 2, 2022, Ben-Gvir told the army; "Very good, thorough, I am happy. You have respected us all and done the tasks given to you."
