Selawat Together With Ulama And Santri With Mahfud, Puan Yakin The Vote In East Java Increases
JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDI-P DPP, Puan Maharani, attended the national recitation event in East Java. In the prayer and prayer with the cleric KH Anwar Zahid, Puan was present with the vice presidential candidate Mahfud Md.
Selawat and prayers for the safety of the nation were held at Gelora Joko Samudra, Gresik, East Java on Friday, November 3. Thousands of people, the majority of whom were students who attended the national recitation event.
Before attending the activity in Gresik, in the afternoon Puan made a pilgrimage to the grave of the first President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as her grandfather, Sukarno, who was in Blitar, East Java.
From Blitar, Puan and Mahfud left for Gresik to attend the salawat event and prayers for the safety of the nation which was held at night. Arriving at the event location, Puan and Mahfud were warmly welcomed by the students and the people present.
Puan also greeted and even went to the Selawat participants to the stands and field areas where the crowd was full of people. Puan also greeted and served many requests for photos and selfies from the students and the audience.
To the thousands of people present, Puan conveyed greetings from Megawati and Ganjar Pranowo who could not attend. Both of them had to attend other activities so that they immediately returned to Jakarta after a pilgrimage to Bung Karno's grave.
"So we share our duties. Mrs. Megawati and Mr. Ganjar left greetings to all who are here. He apologized for not being able to attend," said Puan.
In the national recitation event which was also filled by Gus Hafidz and Gus Azmi Syubbanul Muslimin, Puan said this activity was held in the context of consolidation as well as friendship, as well as praying together to Allah SWT so that the Indonesian nation was given protection.
This joint salary was also held for the safety and blessings of all Indonesian people, especially in welcoming the implementation of the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg) and Presidential Election (Pilpres).
The TPN Advisory Board Ganjar-Mahfud said the Indonesian people gave mandates to all representatives of the people through elections, both the President and the Vice President, as well as members of the legislature. According to Puan, elections as a democratic agenda will make Indonesia better in the future.
"In every people's voice there is their prayer, so that life will be better and fought for by members of the Council and the elected President and Vice President," he said.
Puan alluded to the PDIP coalition which agreed to carry Ganjar-Mahfud in the presidential election because both of them were considered complete packages. Ganjar is known as a religiously devout nationalist figure, while Mahfud comes from the Islamic group who is also a Nahdatul Ulama (NU) cadre.
"The Chairperson of the PDI-P, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, together with the General Chairpersons of PPP, Perindo, and Hanura, believe that nominating Ganjar-Mahfud is an ideological decision needed to realize a superior Indonesia," said Puan.
"Pak Ganjar dan Pak Mahfud adalah pasangan yang lengkap," tambah perempuan pertama yang menjabat Ketua DPR RI ini.
Puan then recalled Bung Karno's struggle with NU clerical figures during his lifetime.
"Bung Karno has always been together and in collaboration with NU figures, both during the struggle to seize independence, establish an independent Indonesian country until when filling in independence," said Puan.
Puan then invited all parties to follow and carry out simultaneous elections in 2024 with full responsibility, uphold ethics and law, and always maintain and maintain national unity and integrity.
Then to all Ganjar-Mahfud supporters, Puan invites to work simultaneously to win the couple with mutual cooperation and high fighting spirit.
"Go down together to meet the people, knock on the doors of people's houses, tell all Indonesian people that we have a presidential and vice presidential candidates who have been chosen from the nation's best sons," said the former Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture.
Puan also asked all Ganjar-Mahfud supporters not to be afraid to face those who carried out the irregularities.
"If someone scare you, choose Ganjar-Mahfud piye (gimana)?" asked Puan.

After that, Mahfud conveyed a national oration in front of thousands of people who attended. He also gave a message for the people to choose a leader who could bring Indonesia to be more prosperous.
"Choose a good leader. Ask the kiai and ulama, how to track record each candidate for the presidential and vice presidential candidate. Then choose a good leader," said Mahfud.
After the national recitation event, Puan ensured that PDIP together with the coalition would fight to defend their votes in East Java. Including for the Horseshoe or areas in the eastern part of East Java Province (Banyuwangi, Bondowoso, Jember, Lumajang, Pasurun, Situbondo and Probolinggo).
"God willing, we will still be able to maintain East Java, and we will struggle to increase our votes, including in the Horseshoe and Madura," replied Puan when asked by reporters.
Puan added that she was optimistic that she could increase her voice. Therefore, Ganjar-Mahfud together with the winning team are said to continue to go to the field to win the hearts of the people. As Puan did with Mahfud tonight.
"We will visit all places, meet with the people. Of course, we share tasks between the presidential candidate, vice presidential candidate and friends, including those in East Java, to be able to unite together with the people, win the hearts of the people so that God willing, their voices can still be maintained according to our targets," concluded Puan.
