Shin Tae-yong Calls 27 Players To Challenge Iraq And The Philippines In World Cup Qualifiers
JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, has called 27 players to enter the senior national team squad. This was done by the South Korean coach in preparation for the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Iraq and the Philippines.
The two games with the away system will be held on November 16 and 21. The first match against Iraq will be held at the Basra International Stadium and a meeting against the Philippines will be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Of the 27 names that Shin Tae-yong called to the team, Marselino Ferdinand and Ivar Jenner were certainly not included because they were still injured.
Meanwhile, the name that Shin Tae-yong trusted again to fill the team was the Persis Solo goalkeeper, Muhammad Riyandi after a long absence due to injury. In addition, there are also Adam Alis from Borneo FC and Andy Setyo who played in Persikabo 1973.
