Karawang Police Confiscate Dozens Of Liters Of Oplosan Alcohol From Fan Sellers
The Karawang Police confiscated tens of thousands of liters of adulterated liquor mixed by a perpetrator who works as a fan seller at his home.
"The perpetrator, who is a mixer of adulterated liquor, has the initials A (51), a resident of Tanjungpura Village, West Karawang District, Karawang," said Karawang Police Narcotics Head AKP Arief Zaenal Abidin as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 1.
The case was revealed when the police held the Great Operation Brata 2023 which was carried out simultaneously in the Karawang area for the past month.
After learning that there was an action of mixing liquor, the police then made an arrest. The perpetrator was arrested about a week ago.
From the arrest, the police confiscated 40 liters of adulterated liquor and 32 thousand liters of adulterated liquor packaged with famous liquor brands.
The perpetrator mixed mixed mixed liquor at his rented house in the Tanjungpura area, West Karawang District, Karawang, West Java. The results of the concoction were then sold to angkot drivers and youth in their area.
"This perpetrator has been producing and selling liquor for about four months. So he already has a lot of customers," he said.

It was stated that the perpetrators could produce about 5 liters of adulterated liquor in a day.
"He (the perpetrator) produces mixed liquor at his house. On a daily basis, the perpetrator is a serveman and seller of fans. So while selling fans, the perpetrator produces and sells adulterated alcohol," said Kasatnarkoba.
In accordance with his confession, the perpetrator mixed the drinks with a mixture of alcohol, sugar, water and energy drinks.
Through an adulterated beverage business, the perpetrator admitted that he could reap a profit of around IDR 5 million every month.
