Police Arrest Motorcycle Gang Perpetrators Of Stabbing Jambi Police Personnel

Jambi - Jambi Regional Police together with the Jambi Police arrested seven members of a motorcycle gang suspected of being involved in the stabbing of personnel from the Jambi Police Ditreskrimsus.

"The stabbing action by the motorcycle gang against this police officer was in Simpang III Sipin Village, Jambi City on Sunday night (29/10)," said Head of Public Relations Sub-Division of the Jambi Police, Kompol Mas Edy, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 30.

The seven members of the motorcycle gang are FYS (19), MRB (17), SA (19), ARP (19), AS (18), MDG (17), R (17).

Jambi Police Chief Kombes Eko Wahyudi said there were still five other people on the wanted list (DPO).

The role of the perpetrator, namely AS (18) is the owner of a sharp weapon used to injure members of the Jambi Police Ditreskrimsus.

This incident began when members of the Ditreskrimsus who were victims were in the area, Simpang III Sipin Village, Jambi City dispersed motorcycle gang members who played motorcycle gas, causing inconvenience to residents.

At that time, members of the motorcycle gang did not accept being reprimanded by the victim who was a member of the National Police. The perpetrator immediately injured the victim with a sharp weapon.

One of the perpetrators was arrested by residents at the TKP from the information obtained the identity of the other perpetrators. When confirmed by the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Jambi Police, Kombes Pol. Christian Tory admitted that one of the members of the Jambi Police Ditreskrimsus suffered a stab wound to the head due to the act of a motorcycle gang.

Tory said that currently the case has been submitted to the Jambi Police Satreskrim to immediately reveal and arrest other perpetrators.
