Thus, Panji Gumilang can be tried immediately."Ask the investigators of the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri to hand over the responsibility of the suspect and evidence to the Public Prosecutor to determine whether the case has met the requirements to be transferred to the court or not," said Ketut.Meanwhile, in this case, Panji is suspected of violating Article 14 Paragraph (1) Subsidiary Article 14 Paragraph (2) Subsidies Article 15 of Law Number 1 Year 1946 or Article 156a Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code or Article 45A Paragraph (2) Jo. Article 28 Paragraph (2) Law Number 19 Year 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE).
Panji Gumilang is suspected of committing a criminal act intentionally in public broadcasting fake news or news that is hostility, abuse or blasphemy against a religion and intentionally issuing trouble among the public regarding ethnicity, religion, race, and between groups (SARA).
