Toyota Showcases The Latest Land Cruiser At JMS 2023 With Neo Steer Concept
JAKARTA - After being introduced to the public in early August, the latest Land Cruiser Prado 250 was featured at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show (JMS) which took place in Tokyo, Japan. Not only featuring a dashing body, the manufacturer also presents the vehicle with a unique interior.
The car is equipped with the Neo Steer concept which is integrated with accelerator control and brakes into the steering wheel. When carefully noticed, this SUV comes without a conventional pedal, so the gas pedal space is devoted to placing the driver's feet.
Reporting from Paultan, Thursday, October 26, the system makes it easier for drivers who have difficulties in the lower parts of the body. Simply put, this is like how to operate a motorcycle that only needs to rotate the lever of the gas on the handlebar when accelerating.
Built on the TNGA-F platform specifically for large vehicles, the Prado 250 variant has a size of Land Cruiser 300.
Having a sturdy and boxy design, Land Cruiser Prado is offered with two front ends, such as being inspired by the Land Cruiser Series 70 with circular headlights and sein lights installed in corners.
A typical off-road retro touch is presented on the inside with an 8-inch touch screen located in the center of the dashboard, with a 12.3-inch screen option controlled by the Multimedia Toyota Audio infotainment system.
This car is offered with a 2.4 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 326 dk of power and 630 Nm of torque in collaboration with the 4WD drive system and eight acceleration transmission, maximizing performance in the off-road field.
