KPU Will Release Health Examination Results 3 Candidate-Cawapres Pairs Friday
JAKARTA - The results of the health examination of the presidential candidate pair (candidate) and vice president (cawapres) in the 2024 presidential election will be released on Friday 27 October. Meanwhile, the draw and determination of the candidate pair serial number will be held on November 14, 2023.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari on the last day of registration of presidential and vice presidential pairs at the KPU building on Wednesday, October 25.
"The results of the series of health checks for the three pairs of candidates will later be submitted to the KPU by the Health Check Team of the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital officially on Friday at around 14.00 WIB or after Friday," said Hasyim.
Previously, two pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD had already registered at the KPU on the first day of registration, Thursday, October 19.
The Anies-Cak Imin pair conducted a health check at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital on Saturday, October 21, followed by a day later the Ganjar-Mahfud pair. Finally, the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair registered on the last day, Wednesday, October 25.
Furthermore, the KPU will determine the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs as participants in the 2024 General Election on November 13, 2023. Meanwhile, the draw and determination of the candidate pair serial number will be carried out on November 14, 2023.

The campaign period is scheduled to take place from 28 November 2023 to 10 February 2024. Then the calm period will continue on 11-13 February 2024, then the vote will be held on 14 February 2024.
Based on Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections (UU Pemilu) it is stated that pairs of presidential/vice-presidential candidates are proposed by political parties or coalitions of political parties participating in the election who meet the requirements for obtaining seats of at least 20 percent of the total seats in the DPR or obtaining 25 percent of the nationally valid votes in the previous election for members of the DPR.
