Lampung Police Chief Talks About Working Sincerely Responding To AKP AG Participating In Fredy Pratama For Not Receiving An Award
BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika said that members of the National Police, especially in their ranks, should work as well as possible and be sincere in carrying out their duties and protecting the community.
"Do the job as well as possible, with trust and so on. The award is like a fortune that will come from an unexpected direction," said Inspector General Helmy Santika as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 25.
According to him, awards do not need to be requested, but all personnel are ordered to work according to the rules.
"Actually, the award for performance does not need to be asked, because it will be obtained by itself, as long as the performance is good," he said.
This statement was conveyed by the Lampung Police Chief in response to the former Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the South Lampung Police, AKP Andri Gustami, who reasoned that he had never received an award so he chose to become a drug courier for Fredy Pratama.
"I consider it like this, meaning he (AKP Andri) is not sincere in carrying out his duties," he said.
The Lampung Regional Police, continued Inspector General Helmy Santika, actually prepared an award for AKP Andri for his performance as Head of Narcotics Investigation Unit for South Lampung Police
"However, the facts say otherwise, before the award was awarded, AKP Andri was caught involved in Fredy Pratama's international drug network," he said.

Therefore, the Lampung Regional Police decided to reject the award and then asked Propam to process it both in a disciplined and criminal code of ethics.
"So actually we from the Lampung Regional Police have planned to give an award, but fortunately I have not signed it and it has been discovered, it turns out that he (AKP Andri) is involved in the Fredy Pratama network," he said.
Former Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the South Lampung Police, AKP Andri Gustami-tertuang, in the indictment, was determined to betray the National Police institution and chose to join the international narcotics network, Fredy Pratama, disappointed that he had never received an award with the various achievements he had achieved.
