3 Residents Of West Lombok Arrested By Densus 88

A total of three residents of West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, were arrested by the Special Detachment 88/Anti-terror Team.

Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombesrman Asmara Syarifuddin, said that the Densus 88 Team is still entrusting the three residents at the NTB Police Detention Center.

"Yes, there were three residents of West Lombok who were arrested by the Densus 88 team and are still being deposited in our detention center," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 23.

Arman explained that the arrests of the three residents took place today at around 11.30 WITA. To explain the identities and involvement of the three in acts of terrorism, he admitted that this was beyond his authority.

"For other identities and techniques, it is the domain of the Densus team. We at the NTB Police are helping and temporary detention sites," said Arman.

With the activities of the Densus 88 Team making another arrest in NTB, it increased the number of residents suspected of being involved in acts of terrorism to six people.

Earlier last week, three people were arrested. Two people in the East Lombok region and one person in the West Sumbawa region.
