South Sulawesi Police Process Police Members Allegedly Involved In Drug Network
The National Police Headquarters Profession and Security Division (Propam) examined witnesses including processing two members of the National Police who were suspected of being involved in the Fredy Pratama International drug trafficking network for the completeness of the case files which would then be sent to the National Police Headquarters.
"We are still examining the witnesses, but we are still processing the two members," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes I Komang Suhartana, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 17.
Two members of the National Police referred to with the initials Bripka SF and Bripka WD served in the Narcotics Unit (Satnarkoba) of the Makassar Police.
Both of them were canceled as officers on October 4, 2023 after studying at the Police Inspector School (SIP) because they were suspected of being involved in a drug trafficking network. Even from information, dozens of Polri members have also been examined as witnesses.

"Regarding that, we will ask Propam later, because this is still under investigation," said Komang about the examination of witnesses.
The National Police Headquarters previously arrested several people in Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi, who were suspected of being linked to a drug trafficking network controlled by S, who is an accomplice to major international drug kingpin Fredy Pratama.
In addition, the police also arrested S's wife, who is a celebrity with the initials NU from Makassar who has been named a suspect in the money laundering case (TPPU) Fredy Pratama.
