13 Fallen Trees Due To Heavy Rain In Banjarmasin, A Number Of Buildings Collapsed

The Banjarmasin Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) assisted by volunteers to deal with dozens of fallen trees due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning on Monday, October 16 afternoon. Thamrin pun menyampaikan, penanganan atas kejadian ini dilakukan maksimal, utamanya pepohonan yang tumbang menghalangi jalan."Sehingga arus lalulintas bisa lancar kembali," paparnya.Sementara itu, sejumlah wilayah di Kota Banjarmasin mengalami pemadaman listrik sejak terjadinya hujan sore tersebut hingga pukul 20.12 WITA belum juga nyala. Sebab beberapa pohon tumbang menimpa kabel listrik.
