This Legendary Nissan Enters The Auction This November, The Price Can Reach IDR 5 Billion
JAKARTA - For automotive sports fans and GT-R Skyline fans, you must have heard of the 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32 JGTCC-GT1 built in Japan by Hasemi Motorsport and Nismo.
This vehicle was specifically designed to compete in the Japan Grand Touring Car Championship 1994 championship which was very competitive and at that time proved successful with the racer Masahiro Hasemi who won second place.
The latest news, quoted from Carbuzz, October 12, is that this legendary car will be included in the RM Sotheby's auction list in London on November 4.
In his time, R32 itself was a true monster and earned the nickname 'Godzilla' after winning a lot of victories between 1990 and 1993. However, the collaboration between Nismo and Hasemi Motorsport changed it to a higher level by providing structural reinforcement for additional strength, a new carbon fiber body panel, and its updated subordinates. Nismo and Hasemi Motorsport also supplied power to the rear wheels through XTrac transmission of six accelerations sequentially.
How much power is generated? The RB26DETT machine is set to produce 450 dk of power, much higher than the 276 dk of the standard R32. Meanwhile, braking is handled by AP Racing brakes.
The vehicle is reportedly well maintained and still retains original factory-made Reinik machines and other components, including the iconic orange and white Unisia Jecs livery that makes this Skyline one of the best known in the world.
During his short career, the Skyline GT-R won the Sendai Highland GT competition, finishing 15 seconds in front of another car. Then, second place in the 24 Hours of Tokachi.
During the 1995 series, Skyline only appeared once in the GT 300 championship while competing at the Suzuka Circuit. After being renovated, this car retired and displayed at the Jasemi Motorsport office.
