Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition, Jaguar's Farewell To Burning Machine
JAKARTA - Before making the transition to full electric mobility, Jaguar had just launched Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition, which would be their last car with an internal combustion engine (ICE).
This luxury sports car comes in two variants, coup and convertible, and is inspired by the legendary Jaguar E-Type race car. This decision is becoming even more special because there are only 150 units of F-Type ZP Edition to be produced.
"Along with Jaguar starting the largest transformation in history to become a luxury and modern electric car brand starting in 2025, this is an unrepeated celebration of the legacy of our internal combustion engine sports car," said Rawdon Glover, Managing Director of Jaguar, in a statement. company, Wednesday, October 11.
Jaguar offers two color choices for this limited edition model, namely Oulton Blue Gloss with Mars Red and Ebony dual-tone interiors, as well as Crystal Gray Gloss with Navy Blue and Ebony dual-tone interiors.
These two models have a retro-style racing circle with a Porcelain White Gloss color applied manually on the door, as well as a similar touch to the grille that gives a classic racing feel.
The two variants are also equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels defined by Gloss Black Diamond, exterior accents, and the same brake cap. To add to the impression of exclusivity, each unit is equipped with a placard that reads 'One of 150' as a marker that this car is a limited collection.
However, the most impressive of the two is the engine. Jaguar paid its final respects to a 5.0 liter V8 machine by providing an F-Type ZP Edition of 575 ps of power and 700 Nm of torque.
This large capacity engine is combined with a driving system of all Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) wheels, which allows the car to reach 0-100 km/hour in a time of 3.5 seconds, with the highest speed reaching 300 km/hour.
Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition will be the closing of the 75-year era of Jaguar's internal combustion engine. The model is scheduled to enter production in 2024.
