KPAI Will Take Firm Steps If There Is Negligence Related To 132 Cengkareng Junior High School Students Falling From 4th Floor

JAKARTA - Following up on the death of SMPN 132 Cengkareng student, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) will take firm steps if the results of the investigation are found to be an element of negligence by the school against students.

"There must be a joint evaluation. How to supervise during rest. Children must be monitored, if there is negligence it must be conveyed," said Chairman of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), Ai Maryati Solihah when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, October 11.

Meanwhile, the Cengkareng Police are also still investigating the death of a grade III junior high school student with the initials DR who fell from the 4th floor of the school building.

"The investigation continues to this day. We will investigate, this is related to the school environment. 5 witnesses have been examined," said Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Hasoloan Situmorang.
