Moncer In The Indicator Survey, Ridwan Kamil Is Ready To Be A Vice Presidential Candidate

JAKARTA - Former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said he was ready to run if asked to become a vice presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). If the "call" comes, Kang Emil cannot refuse.

This was conveyed by Ridwan in response to the Indonesian Political Indicators survey which considered him suitable to accompany Ganjar Pranowo as a vice presidential candidate.

"If there is a call for fate to come forward, basically I have to be ready. Whether in capacity to be assigned as a party cadre or to be ready if summoned as a personal capacity. Whatever for the sake of the country, of course we must be ready," said Kang Emil, quoted on Thursday, October 5.

Ridwan Kamil believes that the survey results that have always been good are also due to his performance during his tenure as governor and mayor of Bandung.

"That is the aspirations of the community and the expectations of the community," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding his assessment, it is suitable to accompany Ganjar, continued RK, is the public's perception.

"But of course we leave this decision to the leaders in the party. What is the best for the match in the future," said the man who is familiarly called RK.

Kang Emil assessed that the political map in the future could still change. This is because all possibilities can occur until the candidates register themselves with the General Elections Commission (KPU).

The registration of presidential and vice-presidential candidates is opened on October 19-25.

"Until before registration, I suspect there will be many dynamic things," he said.

Ridwan Kamil hopes that the presidential and vice presidential candidates who will fight for voters are the best. The figure of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Islamic groups is expected to be present as expected by the people who were photographed in the Indonesian Political Indicators survey.

In addition, figures who pay attention to the Muslim community are also expected to emerge and bring a public program like he did when he was Governor of West Java.

He detailed that there are a number of jobs he does related to the welfare of the people, including one pesantren one product.

"There is one pesantren one product, five thousand pesantren during five years of business and the majority are NU pesantren," he explained.

It didn't stop there, Ridwan Kamil also gave birth to a public program called one hafiz village whose realization has been completed one hundred percent.

Not only with NU, RK said that the people with Muhammadiyah backgrounds and other Muslim communities were close to them.

"This means that the community is also smart in seeing which leaders have real public programs," concluded the former Mayor of Bandung.
