Heru Budi Reveals There Are ASN DKI Who Are Busy Looking For Positions
JAKARTA - Jakarta Acting (Pj) Heru Budi Hartono revealed that there are ASN within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government who are busy looking for ways to increase their positions.
This was revealed by Heru Budi in his speech when inaugurating hundreds of echelon III and echelon IV officials in the positions of administrators and supervisors within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Heru said that the unnamed subordinate had returned to target an increase in office by visiting other DKI Provincial Government officials, while the position held was only a few months.
"Yes, ladies and gentlemen, who have just sat for six months as echelon III, have just taken echelon IV positions, have been looking for positions. It's only been a year to sit down, play around, look for. Come to person A, to person B, to person C," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, October 3.
Heru emphasized that this behavior should not be imitated. The former mayor of North Jakarta gave an example, he was also able to get a high ASN position and carry out his duties as Acting Governor through a long process.
"The job is right. I entered DKI in 92. So the head of Subdivision for 11 years, so the head of the unit has been going around, so echelon two is going around. There is nothing to get a ladder for success is easy. Nothing," said Heru.
To the newly inaugurated echelon III and IV ASNs, Heru asked them to control all the main tasks and functions of their new positions. He forbade these officials to delegate their duties to subordinates at their lower level.
"I ask everyone to memorize the main tasks, especially echelon III if they are given the task of echelon II leadership, read it until they can, don't throw it into echelon IV! Echelon 4 don't throw it at the staff! Get your job done," said Heru.

In addition, Heru also instructed his subordinates to care about problems in the community, go directly to see the existing problems and not only receive reports from their subordinates.
"Echelon III, echelon IV, around! If you really have to go to the field, don't behind the table! I don't know you guys, but I trust you to be echelon III, echelon IV, use that trust well," he added.
