Continue To Investigate Arowana Fish Corruption, Kapuas Hulu Prosecutor's Office Has Examined 53 Witnesses
The Prosecutor's Office continues to investigate allegations of corruption in the procurement of arowana fish at the Kapuas Hulu District Fisheries Service for the 2020 fiscal year. So far, 53 witnesses have been questioned in this case.
"Overall, the number of witnesses examined was 53 people consisting of employees of the Kapuas Hulu Fisheries Service, implementers of activities (companies directors), expert witnesses including the beneficiary fish cultivation group (Pocdakan)," said Head of the Special Crime Section of the Kapuas Hulu District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Lasido Heritson Panjaitan, in Putussibau, Kapuas Hulu, Tuesday, October 3, confiscated by Antara.
In this case, the Kejari has detained two suspects with the initials S and IS who are state civil servants (ASN) within the Kapuas Hulu Regency Government (Pemkab) on Monday 18 September.
"We cannot confirm the existence of a new suspect, but it does not rule out the possibility," he said.

Lasido emphasized that in handling cases of alleged corruption, his party not only took legal action, but efforts to recover or recover state losses were also a must.
