Attending HUB Space Exhibition At JCC, Jokowi Tilik Stan, Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo inspected the Hub Space exhibition with the theme "Journey to Connect Indonesia" Friday, September 29. The exhibition took place at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.
In the exhibition that has displayed the achievements of the transportation sector in the last 10 years, President Jokowi reviewed a number of booths, including the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train, Gojek, Prestige Image Motocars, MRT Jakarta, Pertamina, to BookCabin.
Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi on that occasion expressed his appreciation for President Jokowi's presence at the exhibition.
According to the Minister of Transportation, the exhibition is a manifestation of the dream of the Indonesian government in the transportation sector.
The Minister of Transportation also explained that the exhibition was held in order to provide lessons to the community, especially the younger generation of Indonesia, regarding the development of transportation modes in the country.

He also hopes that the exhibition can increase the enthusiasm and interest of the younger generation to participate with the government in developing mass transportation in Indonesia.
"Mr. President surprised to see what is being done. This is good to educate our young people so that they have the spirit and will to do their best with confidence," said the Minister of Transportation, confiscated by Antara.
The Minister of Transportation also said that President Jokowi immediately gave a number of tasks to improve the development of mass transportation in the country.
The Minister of Transportation will also invite a number of stakeholders to realize this task, ranging from ministries/agencies, local governments, academics, to the media.
"So there are so many homeworks, challenging but fun," said the Minister of Transportation.
Also accompanying President Jokowi in the review were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno.
