Learning From The Jabodebek LRT Problem, Inka Boss Ensures His KRL Is Qualified

JAKARTA - The Main Director of PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) or Inka Eko Purwanto ensures that the electric rail trains (KRL) he makes are of good quality and will not experience problems.

This statement also answers public concerns regarding products made by Inka. This is because the public has recently been highlighting the Jabodebek LRT. This Incan-made train experienced many problems after it was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

For your information, Inka received an order for 24 new train sets from PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) worth IDR 5.7 trillion.

"God willing, there won't be (any problems). Now we are also (taking care of) the quality issue, we are really focused on this problem and God willing, we will continue to make improvements," he said when met at the DPR RI Building, Senayan, Jakarta, written Wednesday, September 20.

Furthermore, Eko explained that currently his party is working on 16 trainsets and is targeting completion according to the timeline agreed by both parties between INKA and KCI.

"We were still preparing 16 train sets yesterday. Still the delivery is as we planned. "Everything is still on schedule," he said.

Previously, KAI Commuter Corporate Secretary Anne Purba admitted that he would continue to coordinate with INKA to ensure the reliability of its train products. Anne also hopes that the quality of the Electric Rail Train (KRL) made by INKA will be much better.
