Before Supporting Prabowo, AHY Had Says Goodbye To Puan Can't Cooperate In 2024
Chairman (Katum) of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) has sent a farewell message to the Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani because she has not been able to cooperate in the 2024 presidential election.
The message was conveyed by AHY before the Democrats expressed support for Prabowo Subianto and joined the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM). This was revealed by the Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Democratic Party, Hinca Pandjaitan, to reporters at the DPR Building, Monday, September 18. Initially, Hinca explained about the communication established with the two presidential readings, Prabowo Subianto and Ganjar Pranowo.
"We have all communicated for the past two weeks, either to PDIP red friends or Ganjar or to Gerindra, both," said Hinca. However, he continued, communication was getting more intensive to Prabowo's camp. Until finally, the Party High Council decided to support Prabowo and join KIM. "In the first week it was very warm, it continued to be very intensive. Well, on the second week it started, a little slower that was there, which here continued to get faster. While the timer continued, the time continued," he said.

Because he upholds political ethics, explained Hinca, AHY then gave a message of goodbye to Puan so that there is no misunderstanding.
"Mas AHY as the chairman who has a very good relationship with Mba Puan sent a message and said goodbye. 'Mba, we have like this', what I explained earlier," said Hinca.
"We apologize for not being able to work together in 2024, but we continue to maintain communication and friendship to build a country together," he continued.
Puan, added Hinca, has also replied to AHY's goodbye message. The chairman of the DPR, he said, expressed his gratitude for the friendship that had been built by the Democrats.
"Not how long he (Puan) immediately answered. 'Good Mas, thank you for taking care of the friendship'," said Hinca. So direct communication has been carried out," he concluded.
