BPBD Kapuas Intensive Socializes The Prevention Of Forest And Land Fires To The Community
KUALA KAPUAS - The importance as early as possible is that the public knows about preventing forest fires, it is well realized that the Kapuas Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Central Kalimantan, is now intensively conducting socialization.
Socialization of forest and land fires prevention is very important, especially in the Badminton District, which includes 14 sub-districts that have a high risk of forest and land fires.
"There are many empty lands that are prone to forest and land fires," said Head of BPBD Kapuas Regency, Panahatan Sinaga in Kuala Kapuas, Saturday.
According to him, one of the socializations for the prevention of forest and land fires carried out by the Kapuas Regency BPBD is targeting the Form Jaya Village (A5) which is located in the Badminton District.
"We invite all participants of this socialization to remind each other not to clear the land by burning it," he said.
Archery asked the sub-district and village governments to always monitor their territory. In the event of forest and land fires, they must be extinguished as soon as possible so that the fire does not have time to spread.

Archery again appealed to and reminded the entire community not to clear land by burning it. The public is also asked not to throw cigarette butts carelessly because of the risk of causing a fire.
This is done in preventing forest and land fires in the Kapuas area, considering that they are currently entering the dry season which is prone to forest and land fires.
"All parties, including the community, must jointly prevent forest and land fires, because in the dry season it is currently very prone to fires," he said, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, September 16.
Archery also invites all people to work together in handling forest and land fires, such as extinguishing with officers, then also guarding the land so as not to catch fire.
The participants who took part in this activity included the Village Head, the Head of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), Bhabinkantibmas, Babinsa, traditional leaders, religious leaders, community leaders to the Chair of the Neighborhood Association (RT) in the Villages of Form Jaya and Bina Jaya and Youth Karang Taruna.
