OIKN: There are 2 Groundbreaking Private Investors in IKN at the end of 2023
JAKARTA - The National Capital Authority (OIKN) revealed that there will be two groundbreakings or groundbreakings by private investors in the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago at the end of 2023.
"The sectors include hotels, hospitals, malls, so there is a groundbreaking for those who are ready to start (development). There is also the term launching for those who will carry out the groundbreaking in two months," said Head of OIKN Bambang Susantono at the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Building, Jakarta, as reported by from Antara, Monday, September 11.
Bambang also added that his party also reported on the collaborations that had been established between private investors and OIKN.
"There are also collaborations that we report, such as collaboration with Stanford University in the United States, then also with Pertamina where there are several ideas that we will report on in due course," he said.
Groundbreaking for private companies in IKN Nusantara was held this September. As for the exact date, Bambang said that this would take into account and adapt to President Joko Widodo's schedule.
"Groundbreaking this month, the date is being discussed, adjusted, organized, and taking into account the schedule of the President of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.
For information, OIKN, through the Authority-Owned Enterprise, namely Bina Karya, signed cooperation agreements with a number of Indonesian private companies that plan to participate in developing IKN Nusantara.
Private companies that reach the agreement phase are committed to carrying out development ranging from hospitals, hotels, schools, offices and also shopping malls.
The National Capital of the Archipelago was built to achieve Indonesia's target of becoming a developed country, in accordance with the Indonesian Vision 2045.
