Interested By Investors, Indonesia's Project Achieves A Potential Cooperation Worth IDR 489 Trillion In AIPF 2023
JAKARTA - Projects owned by Indonesia attract the interest of many investors. In fact, achieving the potential for cooperation of 32 US dollars or equivalent to Rp489 trillion in the business matching of ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) 2023.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pahala Mansyuri revealed that in the forum, the Indonesian project did get more attention from the participants present.
"Accompanies by many participants, the total project in Indonesia is indeed the most significant with a total value above 32 billion US dollars," he said at a press conference at the ASEAN Summit, written Thursday, September 7.
In addition, Pahala said the total project from other countries that was also sought to be present on this occasion with a total value of 810 billion US dollars.
"Although it has not been finalized in this meeting, we hope that the implementation of the business matching will be able to increase cooperation and also the real understanding of how the investment needs are expected by each country," he explained.
Pahala revealed that in the business matching there were 14 projects related to green energy or green energy that received funding support of 10 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp123 trillion.

"With Japan, it was also discussed specifically for ASEAN meetings with partners that in the future m regarding priorities for green infrastructure connectivity and Japan's energy transition will provide support to implement the ASEAN outlook Indo-Pacific through a contribution of 10 billion US dollars in 14 projects," he said.
However, Pahala did not explain in more detail whether the 14 projects in question were projects from Indonesia or other ASEAN countries.
For your information, previously Indonesia offered 39 projects with a value of 50 billion US or equivalent to Rp793 trillion in the AIPF 2023 business matching. Of the total projects, 35 of them are projects belonging to SOEs.
