Deputy Chairperson Of The Bekasi Regency DPRD Examined By Prosecutors For Alleged Gratification Of Pajero And BMW
BEKASI - Investigators from the Bekasi District Attorney's Office, West Java, conducted an examination of the Deputy Chairperson of the local DPRD Soleman on suspicion of receiving gratuities from two luxury Mitsubishi Pajero and BMW cars from the private sector.
The chairman of the Bekasi Regency PDI-P DPC was asked dozens of questions for more than seven hours by investigators regarding the involvement in the alleged corruption crime. This is the second summons for examination for Soleman.
"Today we, from the investigating team of the Bekasi District Attorney's Office, have examined SL as a witness on the alleged corruption report in the form of receiving gratuities for two cars from a contractor with the initials RS," said Head of the Special Crime Section of the Bekasi District Attorney's Office Ronald Thomas Mendrofa after the inspection was reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 5.
He said 36 questions were asked during the inspection this time, related to places, locations, to other allegations related to the gratification case of two luxury cars that Soleman allegedly received.
"The question we have asked is approximately 36 questions related to the receipt of the place, the focus, when and the allegations that we have collected so far," he said. Ronald ensured that the examination of Soleman had not been completed. Investigators will still call back the person concerned for further examination, as well as match with the statement of the hospital as the party suspected of gratification.
"We will call SL again because this has not been completed, we checked for seven hours and we will still call back and we will study his information, especially after we examined the hospital's sister," he said.
Previously, investigators had also examined 15 witnesses related to this gratification case. In addition, the hospital has also been summoned to undergo an examination. However, it was hampered by the location of the hospital undergoing Umrah worship.
"The hospital has not been present because the person concerned is carrying out the Umrah pilgrimage so we will call back after returning from there," he said.
His party also stated that the two luxury cars that became a means of gratification were still in process. However, investigators have confiscated the documents of the two cars.
"For the evidence that the car is still in progress, but we have secured several things related to the documents, the vehicle is currently still being used. We will adjust the vehicle later when checking the hospital's sister," he said.

During this examination, Soleman came by riding Pajero Sport to the Bekasi District Attorney's Office. Accompanied by a number of attorneys, he came at 10.30 WIB and immediately entered the prosecutor's office building to the top floor.
Then at around 20.00 WIB, Soleman and his entourage finally came down from the top floor. Wearing a mask, he seemed to be rushing into the vehicle.
He declined to give a statement to the media crew who had been waiting since morning. "Just my lawyer," he said as he walked quickly.
In line with his client, Soleman's attorney, Aziz Iswanto, was economical. He only made sure his client would be cooperative.
"That clarification was done to answer several questions. This eliminates the bad stigma that my client is not cooperative. What is clear is that our client is cooperative with the laws that apply in Indonesia," he said.
