JAKARTA - The general chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, said that he often felt the smell of betrayal recently.

The statement was made when giving a speech at the declaration of support for the Indonesian People's Wave Party (Gelora) against him at the Djakarta Theater, Central Jakarta, Saturday, September 2.

It started when Prabowo said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had a big soul because he invited him to join in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

The number one person in Gerindra also agreed to the invitation. However, it is undeniable that many parties oppose the decision. In fact, Prabowo was considered a traitor.

"I was also opposed to joining. I was opposed by my own followers. I was accused of being a traitor," said Prabowo.
