Hope It's Over Soon, Ammar Zoni Disappointed That The Prosecution Session Is Postponed

JAKARTA - Ammar Zoni is again undergoing a follow-up trial in the drug abuse case at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) today, Thursday, August 31.

However, Irish Bella's husband had to be disappointed because the trial with the agenda of reading the demands from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) had to be postponed.

"Definitely (Feel disappointed). Ammar also talked to me that he was disappointed," Abdullah Emile Oemar Alamudy told the media crew at the South Jakarta District Court after the trial.

Abdulla said that Ammar Zoni hoped that the trial could be completed as soon as possible. It is said that the 30-year-old soap opera actor wants to know his fate regarding this case as soon as possible.

"He wanted to finish this trial quickly, and it was clear what he had to bear. In a sense, whether he had to appeal or had to accept the rehabilitation decision. We still don't know," Abdullah said.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor's unpreparedness was the reason for the panel of judges to postpone the reading of the charges until next week.

During the trial, the Public Prosecutor stated that the material for the trial had not yet been completed, so he asked the panel of judges to postpone the trial.

"Your Excellency's permission, because the material for our demands is not yet ready, we request that the reading of the demands be postponed one more week, Your Honor," said the prosecutor in the courtroom.

The panel of judges also granted the prosecutor's request. Finally, the trial was postponed one week in the future, until September 7th.

"Good, because the public prosecutor is not ready with his demands, we will postpone the trial until September 7 next week," said the panel of judges ending the trial.
