Cardano Will Exceed Bitcoin And Ethereum, Says Crypto Founder ADA Charles Hoskinson

JAKARTA Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson called Cardano a leading project in the crypto industry. He even dared to claim that Cardano would be the best in the world, overcoming tough competitors like Ethereum and Bitcoin.

At the Rare Evo 2023 event, the founder confidently stated that Cardano has a level of scalability and interoperability that will surpass Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Hoskinson praised Cardano's extraordinary growth in recent years. He highlighted achievements such as the growth of Total Value Locked (TVL) in the DeFi sector by 200%, the launch of scalability and interoperability solutions such as Mitillal and Hydra, as well as the number of assets exceeding 8 million on the network. While joking, Hoskinson also acknowledged the praise given by crypto data aggregator Messari for its network.

Although Cardano claims to have an advantage in scalability and interoperability, the main challenge is network conformity with other projects in the industry. Cardano's uniqueness in terms of smart contracts, transaction models, and other schemes makes it difficult to integrate with other blockchain networks.

To overcome this, Cardano relies on third-party developer solutions such as the Wanchain cross-chain bridge to connect the DeFi Cardano ecosystem with other networks. Although the DeFi Cardano ecosystem is still relatively small compared to Ethereum, Cardano developers are actively looking for new solutions and continue to strive to overcome these challenges.

In the long term, with the implementation of community-based governance in the Voltaire era, Cardano has high hopes of achieving the big vision carried out by Hoskinson. However, there is still work to be done to expand compatibility and achieve the top position in the crypto industry.
