There Was A 'Ganjar Presiden' While Jokowi Was Accompanied By Prabowo To Visit Pekalongan Market

PEKALONGAN - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stopped by to greet traders and residents at the New Grogolan Traditional Market, Landungsari Village, Pekalongan City, Central Java.

Jokowi accompanied by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo checked the prices of basic necessities such as onions, rice, and eggs.

The residents who came to the public officials were immediately enthusiastic and fighting for greetings one by one. Not a few of them asked for selfies from the three.

On the sidelines of Jokowi's review, residents shouted at Ganjar who was accompanied by his wife Siti Atikoh Supriyanti. There was a call for support from the residents so that Ganjar became President in 2024.

Mr. Jokowi! Mr. Ganjar President! Mr. Ganjar President! Long live Mr. Ganjar! The residents shouted at Ganjar.

Ganjar, who saw the enthusiasm of the residents, also welcomed their request for greetings. Ganjar also seemed to have small interactions with the residents.

"Hello everyone, stay healthy. Take care of your health, hopefully the sale will sell well," said Ganjar.

At the end of the review, Ganjar and Prabowo seemed to shake hands. They showed their closeness to the residents present.

Meanwhile, President Jokowi explained that visiting the market is a routine activity for each region. One of the goals is to check commodity prices.

"To every city, to every district, to every province I always check the market regarding prices. Here are good, those who ride a little rice. I think a lot of others have gone down. Shallots go down, chicken meat too, eggs too," said Jokowi.
