The Riau Islands Police Are Investigating Allegations Of Being A Member Of Bekingi Judi In Batam

The Riau Islands Police (Kepri) conducted an in-depth investigation into complaints from the public regarding members suspected of being backers of gambling in Batam.

"Bidpropam (Profession and Security Division) of the Riau Islands Police as internal supervisors in accordance with the priority program of the 15th National Police Chief (containing the supervisory function) will conduct deepening and clarification and comprehensive proof of public complaints received," said Head of Public Relations of the Riau Islands Regional Police, Kombes Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 29.

He explained that the public complaint was an overflow from the National Police's Professional and Security Division (Divpropam) which was received by the Riau Islands Police Bidpropam regarding the alleged handling of cases of violations of the Law handled by the Riau Islands Police Ditreskrimum investigators.
